As a self-proclaimed artist, I began candle-making as a creative outlet and hobby.

 

The process of slowly pouring candles and intentionally selecting scents struck me with its simplistic beauty and quickly became an integral part of my spiritual and meditation practice.

 

During one pouring session, while practicing  active  meditation,” I found myself immersed in a memory of playing with candle wax as a child. The remembrance of feeling the warm wax on my skin filled me with an immediate rush of joy and serenity.

 

I sought out a way to create non-toxic, skin-safe, and nourishing candles.

 

Combining my love of holistic healing modalities, artistry, and natural skin care, Phylira’s Flame was born.

 

My signature collection of Massage Candles is meant to be used by yourself or with a partner by massaging the melted wax into the skin. My hope is to recreate that feeling of joy and relaxation for my customers.

All of our of candles are hand poured by myself, in my home studio located in Norfolk Virginia.
